  • New Board Questions

I had a few functional questions about the new boards.

For starters, can you redirect where the board forwards you to if when you submit a comment? I mean the autoforward not the links that pop up. As in, can you possibly change it to take you to the forum and not the new post? Ditto for the mark forum read link, it takes you back to the same forum instead of up a level, ie back to General and not up to Index.

Secondly, does anyone know why the text in my cut and paste table came out so ungodly large: http://mboards.eqtraders.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=82

Third, is there anyway to capture the old boards?

We replaced your font size with folgers crystals

Hey, I liked the size that table came out. For reading posts, small font is fine. For looking up data, make it bigger, it's easier to read.

Just My Not So Humble Opinion, of course.
"You mustn't do that, it's Evil!"
"Then how do I save the world?"
    "Courage! Honor! Faith! Nobility!"
"But I haven't GOT any of those!"

I totally agree, the size looks great on that chart. Much easier to read than normal size text.

That would be because we're still fiddling with the HTML support in the board, and likely a FONT tag isn't supported in a place your table used it.

I'll leave it to Ngreth to respond to the "for starters" question, as he's far more aware of what can and can't be done with the new boards. I'm still learning my way around, as he's the one who did all the initial setup.

With regards to capturing the old boards, we tried an experimental copy, and it really didn't work well. That's one of the many reasons why the old boards will be around for a while (even after I turn off posting to it in a day or two), so that folks can refer back to the information and/or do a cut & paste of the necessary information from them.
